Whether it is a deep longing to return to her childhood bedroom, or the bittersweet reminder of a loved one long-departed, her paintings are laced with a soft aching. The concepts of ‘Time’, ‘Memory’ and ‘Grief’ are tenderly interwoven in this body of work, realized through the medium of people.
Izma has previously illustrated for clients including UNDP Bangladesh and is currently working with Maritimus Magazine, USA.
